Signature Programs at St. Mark School

St. Mark School is a place that recognizes children as unique individuals and encourages all students to realize their God-given gifts and talents. In keeping with the mission of our school which is to instill self-confidence, intellectual curiosity, and strong academic performance through instruction based on the strengths of students’ various learning styles we offer a variety of signature programs for our students including: 

The Whatley Program

This innovative program is designed to meet the needs of students of average and above-average intelligence, with a documented learning disability, in grades K-8.

The program is staffed by highly qualified special education teachers, with the assistance of part-time aides,  who design specific programs to meet the personal learning needs of each child.  Small group sizes and a modified curriculum for Language Arts and Math are hallmarks of the program. National Junior Honor Society (NJHS)

Members of the St. Mark School National Junior Honor Society demonstrate excellence in the areas of scholarship, character, leadership, and service. They have achieved and will maintain a GPA of 3.75 or above throughout their Middle School Years. They demonstrate the highest standards of honesty.
